The manufacture of marine chronometers is part of Wempe's clockmaking tradition.

Since 1905, the company has equipped ships with these special timepieces, whose high precision is unaffected by rough seas and fluctuating temperatures.

Wempe's "standard chronometer" has been manufactured for 80 years and – continuously refined – is housed in a classic case.

Now, Wempe is combining nautical tradition with modern yacht design.

The renowned British naval designer Tim Heywood has created new, expressive marine chronometers, such as the "Coco de Mer" model.
